This is the official blog of Philosophy of Emotions at Wake Forest University, led by Prof. Francisco Gallegos. This blog was started by an extraordinary group of students in Fall 2019, and was renewed by students in Fall 2022, and now in Fall 2024.
I think of this site as a collection of artifacts left behind by students engaging in the hard work of examining philosophical questions related to the nature of emotions and the ways they relate to real-world issues in our own lives and communities.
How to create a post
To get started, just click on the link in the lefthand sidebar and and fill in the boxes.
- Enter the body of your text in the field titled “What do you want to say?” Begin with a short summary/teaser — that will appear as a caption below your image.
- Once you’re finished, be sure to select your Category and add any Tags you’d like.
