On Tuesday we’ll begin Unit 3 of the course, on the politics of emotions. We’ll start by discussing two articles:
- An excerpt from Arlie Hochschild’s groundbreaking text, The Managed Heart
- A nice review of some recent philosophical work on the concepts of oppression and privilege by Diane Goodman
